Arduino with ATmega328ATmega328P chips are now available in the webstore, unprogrammed for $5.25 or bootloaded for $6.25. IntroductionOriginally, the Arduino project centered around the ATmega8 with 8KB of flash, 1KB of RAM, and 512B of EEPROM, later this was upgraded to the ATmega168 with 16KB of flash. Recently Atmel has introduced the ATmega328P with 32KB of flash, 2KB of RAM, and 1KB of EEPROM. Unforunetly the new chip requires a modified bootloader, modified IDE configuration, upgraded tool-chain, and modified avrdude configuration. These pages describe the nessessary modifications. ATmega328P ChipsOriginally ATmega328 chips were scarce and very late shipping. Today, they're almost available from many distributors. Try findchips.com or the Atmel distributor search tool. I carry them in the Fundamental Logic store unprogrammed or with bootloader. |
